Louis Anthony Restivo

Louis A. Restivo passed away suddenly, in the early hours of Monday, October 26, 2020 at the home he shared with his mother Rose Restivo, in Venice Florida. He was born on March 24, 1957 in Newburg NY.
He grew up in Brooklyn, where he attended PS 128, Cavallaro JHS, and Lafayette HS.
He graduated from Baruch College and went on to a career in the computer industry. In later years he left the NY Metro area and settled in Florida where he pursued new careers in aerospace. He was a licensed pilot.

Predeceased by his father Anthony C. Restivo, Louis is survived by his son Andrew Louis Restivo of White Plains NY, Louis" mother Rose Restivo of Venice FL, brother Leonard A. Restivo, his wife Ann Marie of Wayne PA and daughters Andrea Restivo, Laura Riley and son-in-law Matt and their children, Henry James and Addison, his sister Marietta Horne, husband Bill of Cranford NJ and their son William A. Horne.

He also had a very close and special relationship with Ms. Sherrel Bisnauth, who we all know as Sherry.

In his final years, he was a companion and caregiver to his mother, a job that he embraced wholeheartedly, and performed admirably.
Louie would tell you that Andrew was his greatest achievement in his life and blessed him with his boundless fatherly love.
His proudest moment was Andrew's appointment as a practicing attorney to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York.
They loved to play golf and go fishing together and could spend hours in deep conversation on just about anything. Louie was always ready with a smile, a slap on the back, or a joke. Good natured and upbeat, his wit and humor were legendary.

He left us too soon.
His family and friends and everyone who knew him will miss him greatly, and will always remember him with a smile.
