Felicity Esther Thomas

Felicity Thomas, affectionately known as Esther Z or Taz was born on March 25, 1927, in Grenada in the parish of St. David. She was the daughter of Virginia and Benneth Thomas. Felicity grew up in Grenada with her parents and siblings. She went to Trinidad at an early age where she spent most of her life. She lived in Venezuela for a few years and returned to Trinidad. Felicity was the mother of the late Earline Thomas and two grandchildren Kimani and the late Ellie Miles. Felicity is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Phylis Victor, Claudette Christopher, Thaddeus Mitchell, Pamela Mitchell, Anthony Mitchell, Neil Thomas, and Lucille Thomas.

In her later years, Felicity migrated to the U.S. and lived with her daughter and grandchildren. We would like to acknowledge the Thomas family of La Tante, the Paul’s and the Mitchell’s, and the remaining family and friends. She will be remembered as she was, classy and well spoken; she will be dearly missed by her loved ones. As the family mourns her loss, we ask God for extra strength to endure this difficult time.
