Born in Brooklyn in 1937, Tony grew up in Gravesend and lived his entire life in Sheepshead Bay. He served in Korea and met his wife Cynthia on a blind date shortly after his return. They married in 1960 and had three boys who they raised in the house they still own on East 21st Street.
Tony loved nothing more than helping a neighbor or friend. He enjoyed travel and spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Cynthia. Three sons, Joseph of Warren Rhode Island, Michael of Colorado Springs Colorado and Steven of Sheepshead Bay.
And four grandchildren. Scott, Carolyn, Shawn and Peter.
